RESUMEN
Introducción: Con este trabajo de investigación se pretende determinar cuál de estos instrumentos de rotación reciprocante: RECIPROC y RECIPROC BLUE, conlleva a la formación de mayor cantidad de cracks radiculares a nivel cervical radicular al momento de la preparación; beneficiando no solo al profesional en la escogencia del instrumento idóneo y más conservador durante la preparación, sino también al paciente, evitando que se produzcan perdidas dentales a causa de las fracturas radiculares verticales que se pueden generar después de haberse realizado el tratamiento de endodoncia. Materiales: 26 premolares extraídos de humanos, divididos en 2 grupos de 13 dientes, donde fueron examinados antes de la preparación como grupo control, y luego pasan a ser instrumentados con Reciproc y Reciproc Blue, posteriormente se examinaron las se superficies radiculares cervicales bajo microscopia electrónica de barrido. Para ésta investigación se aplicó una prueba de comparación de proporciones z. Resultados: Los sistemas probados presentaron cracks en un 100% después de la instrumentación; en cuanto a la longitud de los cracks aumentaron con mayor proporción en las raíces preparadas con Reciproc. Conclusiones: todos los instrumentos formaron grietas sin diferencia significativa. Pero cabe anotar que Reciproc Blue produjo menor cantidad de cracks al comparar en el mismo grupo. Se recomendó realizar más estudios.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: This research work aims to determine which of these reciprocating rotation instruments: RECIPROC and RECIPROC BLUE, leads to the formation of a greater number of root cracks at the cervical root level at the time of preparation; benefiting not only the professional in the choice of the most appropriate and most conservative instrument during the preparation, but also the patient, avoiding the occurrence of tooth loss due to vertical root fractures that can be generated after the endodontic treatment has been performed. Materials: 26 premolars extracted from humans, divided into 2 groups of 13 teeth, where they were examined before the preparation as a control group, and then they were instrumented with Reciproc and Reciproc Blue, subsequently the cervical root surfaces were examined under electron microscopy sweeping. For this investigation, a comparison test of proportions z was applied. Results: The tested systems presented cracks in 100% after the instrumentation; As for the length of the cracks increased with greater proportion in the roots prepared with Reciproc. Conclusions: all instruments formed cracks without significant difference. But it should be noted that Reciproc Blue produced fewer cracks when compared in the same group. It is recommended to conduct more studies.
