| Summary, etc | Este volumen reúne tres cuentos -"El pretendiente", "Angelita y Miguel Ángel" y "El tiempo de la ciénaga". Angelita y Miguel Ángel son los protagonistas de los tres relatos que componen este libro. Son dos adolescentes enamorados que provienen de los mejores barrios de la ciudad de Cali y se internan, como en un descenso a los infiernos, en los barrios populares. Sus vidas, encerradas en la limpieza de la rutina familiar y escolar, se tornan turbias y empiezan un lento resquebrajamiento que conduce al desvarío. Los personajes se internan en monólogos y ensoñaciones en los cuales prima el deseo, la violencia y la premonición constante de una muerte prematura. |
